Today, I’m writing about one cake I have tried from Sadaharu Aoki at the Chocolate Salon: Tokyo macaron yaki.

It is a sort of matcha dorayaki stuffed with a chocolate macaron. There is the dorayaki dough tasting matcha, in which the chef puts a big chocolate macaron. It is made in the same way as a dorayaki, with a hot plancha qith holes.
In reality, it is odd to eat. I didn’t notice that it was stuffed with a chocolate macaron. The inside looks like an azuki dough (anko) mixed with chocolate (it is slightly red) with a melting chocolate heart and it tastes like a badly melted chocolate (thick and grainy). It is very consistent, dosed just right in sugar but it has nothing exceptional.
